Greenfleet Australia and mecu have been partners in sustainable development since 2003, when together we developed the award winning goGreen Car Loan. While we are now planting trees for the goGreen® Car Loan in our own Conservation Landbank, we still encourage customers to offset their own greenhouse gas emissions through Greenfleet.

Greenfleet is the first not-for-profit forestry organisation to become an Approved Abatement Provider under the Federal Government’s Greenhouse Friendly program, which ensures that verified Greenfleet projects generate approved Greenhouse Friendly carbon offsets that will make a difference to the fight against climate change.

Together with Greenfleet we encourage individuals and organisations to reduce the greenhouse gases they produce at home, at work, through driving and air travel and then to offset their remaining emissions by planting native forests.

The forests Greenfleet plants do more than take carbon from the atmosphere. Greenfleet plants a wide range of native trees in permanent forests that help reduce salinity and soil erosion and provide essential habitat for native wildlife.
